AustCorp Executive in Perth is seeking a proactive Senior Bookkeeper to join the finance team. This role reports to the Directors and focuses on delivering accurate month-end reporting, analysis, and improvement initiatives.

Based in Osborne Park, the role covers end-to-end bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, BAS/GST compliance, and depreciation schedules. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience and strong Excel/MYOB skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Bookkeeping or degree in accounting/finance.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping, payroll, AP/AR, and month-end reporting.
• Excel and MYOB experience; BAS registered preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Full-cycle AP/AR management.
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• BAS/GST compliance and review.

The Commercial Trades and Construction business we are partnering with are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join the finance team here in Perth.

This role reports into the Directors and plays a key part in overseeing delivering accurate month-end reporting, performing analysis and proposing improvements, and supporting the finance team in their duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping processes


• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness


• Full-cycle AP/AR management


• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations


• BAS/GST compliance and review


• Month-end and year-end close activities


• Depreciation schedule maintenance


• Process improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate in Bookkeeping / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in payroll, Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, and month-end reporting


• Skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting


• Foundational knowledge in Progress and Retention payments


• Strong in Excel and recent MYOB usage


• Ideally BAS registered


• Collaborative and can form relationships with operational staff


• Understands the industry, maintenance and construction projects
