Job summary

HCF Australia is seeking a data-driven BI Analyst to build and deliver insights across business areas, enabling self-service reporting and data literacy. You will develop reporting data models, collaborate with stakeholders, and integrate diverse data sources to drive informed decisions.

Applicants should have 5+ years in BI or analytics, strong SQL, Tableau, and experience with CDP platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration, agile ways of working, and delivering high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in a quantitative or numerate field such as CS, IT, math, stats, econ.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business context.
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders and teams.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• 5+ years in BI, analytics, or data science.
• Experience using Tableau is a must.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing/ETL knowledge.
• Experience with large, diverse data sources and CDP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver insights across business areas using visualisation and queries.
• Develop subject matter expertise in the business area you work with.
• Consult with business users to recommend how to answer data questions.
• Provide rapid answers using a mix of queries and visualisations.
• Support ad hoc data requests and integrate website data with warehouse.
• Create customer segmentation analytics and campaign reporting.
• Set up monitoring to identify data issues and ensure data quality.
