Job summary

Community Solutions in Victoria is seeking a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to lead a small team while maintaining a reduced caseload of NDIS participants. You will mentor 2-3 practitioners and coordinate day-to-day operations with the Team Leader, delivering high‑quality Positive Behaviour Support services.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification (or higher) in Psychology, Social Work, Developmental Education, Counselling, or a related discipline.
  • Endorsement as a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary Positive Behaviour Support practice.
  • Knowledge of NDIS and behaviour support regulatory requirements.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting less experienced practitioners; exceptional communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring and supporting a small team of 2-3 Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Reviewing behaviour support plans and providing constructive feedback to strengthen clinical practice
  • Assisting with day‑to‑day team coordination, including leave approvals, workflow management, and operational support
  • Supporting performance and capability development in partnership with the Team Leader
  • Ensuring behaviour support plans, documentation, and service delivery meet quality and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining a reduced participant caseload and delivering high‑quality Positive Behaviour Support services

About The Role

As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting the growth, development, and success of a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners while maintaining a reduced caseload of NDIS participants.

This position is ideal for an experienced practitioner who enjoys supporting others and is looking to take the next step in their leadership journey. Working closely alongside the Team Leader, you will gain hands‑on leadership experience while continuing to deliver high‑quality behaviour support services.

You will act as a key mentor and clinical resource for your team, helping practitioners build capability, confidence, and quality practice outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include
