Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering critical programs for the Australian Defence Force. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer to support the Battlespace Communication System (BCS) program, applying design, integration, and testing expertise to deliver modular, scalable solutions for diverse mission needs.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, develop documentation, and ensure quality within cost and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), or eligible to obtain registration.
• Australian Citizenship required to meet Defence security requirements.
• Experience in mechanical systems design, integration and test.
• Experience with environmental testing, verification analysis and functional assessment of test equipment.
• Experience in writing technical reports and developing documentation related to systems integration.
• Proven experience in providing direction within engineering teams to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop diverse engineering solutions for electronic, compute and power systems integration.
• Develop engineering documentation and ensure accurate configuration management of system hardware.
• Work with the project team to ensure the engineering scope is delivered within cost and schedule constraints, adhering to quality guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
