Job summary

Achuman Capital is assisting a leading Australian law firm in Perth to recruit a Senior Lawyer for its Banking/Projects team. The role focuses on advisory work for lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investors on sophisticated financing transactions.

You will draft and negotiate finance documents, manage transaction workstreams and advise on complex financing structures across mining, energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE in banking/finance or related field.
• Strong banking/finance background with relevant experience.
• Experience liaising with clients and managing expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technically excellent and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Advise major lenders, borrowers, sponsors and investors on complex, high‑value financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate finance documentation and related agreements.
• Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate with counsel and clients.
• Provide guidance on complex financing structures across sectors.
