Job summary

Biza.io is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build secure, scalable SaaS platforms in a remote-first environment. You will influence architecture, deliver high-quality features, and mentor peers while embracing AI-assisted development and agentic engineering practices.

You will work across backend services (Spring Boot, TypeScript/Node), integrate Next.js frontend concepts as needed, and partner with SRE and product managers to ensure reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating complex SaaS software.
• Strong backend and system design skills with Spring Boot/TypeScript.
• Excellent collaboration and problem solving in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and delivery of secure, scalable product features.
• Influence architecture, technical decisions and engineering standards across the platform.
• Improve engineering quality with AI-enabled practices and code reviews for continuous improvement.
• Partner with software engineers, SREs and product managers to deliver reliable, resilient services.
• Solve complex technical challenges and act as a senior escalation point as needed.
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate delivery while balancing quality, security and token efficiency.
