Job summary

Innova Search is hiring Senior and Lead Backend Engineers to own backend systems behind the product. You will shape system design, make technical decisions and see the impact as the product evolves.

Role offers a permanent full-time position with a hybrid workplace in Sydney CBD (3 days in the office). You must be based in Sydney with full working rights; sponsorship or remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally .NET, Java or similar.
• Designing and running large-scale cloud apps and microservices on AWS.
• Experience with relational databases, distributed systems, and automated testing.
• Excellent API design skills with REST or GraphQL.
• Proven ownership, squad leadership, and high-quality work.
• Startup or scaleup experience in a fast-paced environment.
