Binance is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable backend services, focusing on traditional and AI-powered search capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust search systems that support core business use cases.

This role requires strong backend expertise and a commitment to delivering reliable, efficient solutions that drive Binance’s operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch, vector search, hybrid retrieval) preferred.
• Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Flink or Spark for real-time or batch processing.
• Familiarity with AI-powered search technologies including LLM-based search, RAG architectures, or agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and scalable system design.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services for traditional and AI-powered search systems.
• Own the architecture of search-related systems for high reliability and performance.
• Develop reusable backend frameworks to accelerate search and AI product development.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to enable LLM-powered search, ranking, and agents.
• Continuously improve search performance including indexing, retrieval, ranking, and latency optimization.
• Translate business needs into scalable search solutions.
• Drive execution and deliver results in evolving environments.
