Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable backend services for traditional and AI-powered search. You will own the architecture of search systems, ensuring high reliability and performance while collaborating with data scientists and AI engineers to enable LLM-powered search, ranking, and agent capabilities.

Strong backend expertise and hands-on experience with search technologies and cloud infrastructure are essential to deliver robust, scalable

Qualifications

5+ years of backend engineering experience.
Proficiency in Java and Python.
Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with search technologies like Elasticsearch and vector search.
Experience with big data processing (Flink or Spark).
Familiarity with AI-powered search, including LLM-based search, RAG architectures, or agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and scalable system design.
Ability to deliver results in evolving environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services supporting traditional and AI-powered search.
Own the architecture of search-related systems for high reliability and performance.
Develop reusable backend frameworks to accelerate search and AI product development.
Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to enable LLM-powered search, ranking, and agent capabilities.
Continuously improve search performance, including indexing, retrieval, ranking, and latency optimization.
Translate business needs into scalable search solutions.
Drive execution in complex or evolving environments.
