Job summary

Recruitment Hive in Brisbane is seeking a Backend API Developer (EL1 equivalent) to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable backend services and consumer APIs. You will collaborate with frontend teams, Salesforce and MuleSoft, deploying cloud-native solutions on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.

Implement robust authentication and authorization patterns to support web, portal and mobile access. The role requires strong API design expertise, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Strong API design knowledge including GraphQL, auth, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience using source control, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to build, validate and deploy backend services across teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted software engineering tools to support development, testing and delivery.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary delivery teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
