Job summary

Avanade is seeking a Business Analyst (Manager level) based in Auckland to lead requirements gathering and analysis on complex Dynamics 365 and Power Platform programmes. You will work closely with client stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions are clearly defined and aligned to business objectives.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of professional BA experience, with 5+ years in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise CRM/ERP programmes.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques (process modelling, use cases, user stories).
• Proven ability to lead requirements workshops and manage junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform programmes.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and process-mapping with client stakeholders.
• Document requirements, functional specs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Model as-is processes and design to-be future state processes.
• Collaborate with solution architects to ensure designs meet business requirements.
• Define and manage traceability matrices to support testing and delivery.
• Support UAT planning, execution and sign-off with client teams.
• Coach and oversee junior BAs and analysts on the engagement.
• Assist pre-sales activities including scope definition and effort estimation.
