Job summary

The Network Technology Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a major Federal Government program delivering mission-critical applications and data platforms. This hands-on role emphasizes backend work, taking ownership of complex solutions from design to production support.

Required are 7+ years of enterprise Java, strong Spring/Spring Boot, and experience with microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Recent hands-on backend development; not purely architecture.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Proficient with Apache Kafka, NiFi and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with large-scale data integration and high-volume platforms.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong technical leadership and end-to-end solution ownership.
• Must have NV1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own solutions from design through production support.
• Hands-on backend development and troubleshooting in production.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex systems.
• Collaborate across teams to implement microservices and APIs.
