Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Recent hands-on backend development; not purely architecture.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Proficient with Apache Kafka, NiFi and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with large-scale data integration and high-volume platforms.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong technical leadership and end-to-end solution ownership.
• Must have NV1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with a strong backend focus, requiring someone who can take ownership of complex solutions from design through to production support.

Critical Requirements

• 7+ years' enterprise Java development experience
• Strong Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Recent hands-on backend development - not purely architecture or leadership
• Microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems
• Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi and Elasticsearch
• Large-scale data integration, processing and high-volume platforms
• SQL databases - Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar
• Jenkins, Git, Maven, CI/CD and automated testing
• Strong technical leadership and end-to-end solution ownership
• NV1 security clearance
