Job summary

The Network is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a Federal Government program delivering mission-critical applications and large-scale data platforms supporting national law enforcement and intelligence capabilities.

This hands-on engineering role has a strong backend focus and requires ownership from design through production support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' enterprise Java development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Recent hands-on backend development - not purely architecture or leadership.
• Microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi and Elasticsearch.
• Large-scale data integration, processing and high-volume platforms.
• SQL databases - Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Jenkins, Git, Maven, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong technical leadership and end-to-end solution ownership.
• NV1 security clearance.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with a strong backend focus, requiring someone who can take ownership of complex solutions from design through to production support.

Critical Requirements

• 7+ years' enterprise Java development experience
• Strong Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
