Job summary

IBM Consulting in Ballarat seeks a Senior Azure Engineer to design, build, implement and operate Azure infrastructure in a security-focused enterprise. You’ll work with the team to translate architectures into production-ready solutions emphasizing automation and modernisation.

Role focuses on implementation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, networking, security controls and DR planning, with opportunities for technical leadership across Azure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience delivering Azure infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, CI/CD, security hardening and DR/BCP.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Bicep and ARM templates.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for deployments.
• Implement Azure networking including VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute and Firewalls.
• Configure Azure services for monitoring, security and compliance.
• Implement CMK and backup solutions; plan DR/BCP.
• Provide technical leadership on Azure-related solutions and architecture.
