Job summary

DXC Technology is hiring a Senior Azure Container Engineer in Melbourne to deliver secure, production-ready container platforms for a major Australian Government agency.

You will build and manage AKS clusters, implement IaC (Bicep/Terraform), and deploy Docker-based workloads while enforcing Kubernetes security and observability. This role requires strong Azure experience and regulatory deliverables.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AKS, Docker, Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
• Strong IaC skills using Bicep and Terraform.
• Hands-on CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience delivering in government or regulated environments.
• AZ-400 preferred; AZ-104, CKA, CKAD, AZ-500 advantageous.

What you'll do:

• Build, configure and manage AKS clusters and supporting Azure services at enterprise scale


• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows

What you'll bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with AKS, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes and Azure in enterprise environments


• Solid IaC skills (Bicep and/or Terraform) and CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)


• Knowledge of container security, networking, identity and observability on Azure


• Experience delivering within government or regulated environments (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight)


• AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) strongly preferred; AZ-104, CKA, CKAD, AZ-500 advantageous

Requirements:

• Australian citizenship


• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
