Job summary

DXC Technology is hiring a Senior Azure Container Engineer to deliver secure, production-ready container platforms for a major Australian Government agency. You will build, configure and manage AKS clusters and supporting Azure services at enterprise scale.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with AKS, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes and Azure in enterprise environments, plus IaC (Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).

Qualifications

• Senior Azure Container Engineer with hands-on AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
• Strong IaC skills using Bicep and/or Terraform, plus CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Experience with container security, networking, identity and observability on Azure.
• Experience delivering within government or regulated environments (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight).
• Baseline security clearance eligibility may be required.

What you'll do:

Build, configure and manage AKS clusters and supporting Azure services at enterprise scale

Implement Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows

Containerise applications using Docker and onboard workloads including data, integration and AI services

What you'll bring:

Strong hands‑on experience with AKS, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes and Azure in enterprise environments

Knowledge of container security, networking, identity and observability on Azure

Experience delivering within government or regulated environments (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight)

AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) strongly preferred; AZ-104, CKA, CKAD, AZ-500 advantageous

Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
