Job summary

Talent in Canberra is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain Azure-based infrastructure for enterprise data and analytics workloads within a large government environment.

You will implement Terraform IaC, build and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and apply robust security controls including IAM and networking—collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Azure cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for data analytics workloads.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and familiarity with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM and network controls.
• Experience in large government or regulated environments is a plus.
• Ability to work in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Azure-hosted infrastructure supporting data and analytics workloads.
• Develop and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform-based IaC.
• Build and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Work across Azure data services including Databricks, Data Factory, Web Apps and Logic Apps.
• Apply Azure security controls across networking, IAM and policy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement advanced analytics and AI solutions.
• Support delivery and administration of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and other analytical services.
• Work in multidisciplinary Agile teams.
