Job summary

Pinaka Technology Solutions in Canberra is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud-hosted infrastructure for analytics workloads.

The role requires experience with Terraform-based IaC, Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Web Apps and security controls, plus collaboration with stakeholders in an Agile environment. Hybrid work arrangement with office attendance in Canberra three days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Experience delivering IaC-based cloud infrastructure using Terraform or similar.
• Understanding of cloud security: IAM, networking, and policy controls.
• Experience in Data and Analytics projects (data engineering, storage, or data science).
• Proven ability to work in Agile, multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design, development and implementation of Azure infrastructure for data analytics workloads.
• Manage infrastructure with Terraform-based IaC deployment.
• Work with Azure-hosted analytics platforms like Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Web Apps and Logic Apps.
• Implement Azure security features including IAM, networking and policy.
• Develop and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design Advanced Analytics/AI solutions.
• Deliver and administer Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or other analytics services.
