Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to help design, build, and manage modern API-led integration solutions across cloud platforms.

You’ll work with Azure Native Services including Functions and Event Hub, develop REST APIs, and ensure secure authentication, authorization, and scalable CI/CD pipelines. This role also requires familiarity with healthcare or regulated environments and exposure to FHIR/HL7 standards to deliver reliable integration outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building API-led integration solutions.
• Hands-on REST API development with Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of API security and authentication.
• Experience with Azure API Management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API-led integration solutions.
• Build and support integrations using Azure Native Services such as Azure Functions, Azure Event Hub, and related services.
• Develop and manage REST APIs, with exposure to FHIR/HL7 APIs highly regarded.
• Implement secure API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM).
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality integration outcomes.
