Job summary

ProFound People Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a senior integration architect to design end-to-end solutions using AWS for API, microservices and data integration across enterprise systems. You will own API lifecycle, governance and security, and drive scalable, secure, and highly available architectures in a hybrid Sydney environment.

You will lead API/microservices initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners, and implement IaC, CI/CD and DevOps to ensure reliable operations

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in integration, middleware or enterprise technology.
• Strong hands-on AWS integration architecture experience.
• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, IAM and API security.
• Experience with AWS networking, IaC, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architectures using AWS including API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, IAM, Secrets Manager and CloudWatch.
• Lead API, microservices and event-driven architecture across enterprise systems.
• Own API lifecycle, governance, security and integration standards.
• Design secure, scalable and highly available solutions.
• Work across AWS networking, hybrid connectivity and Infrastructure as Code.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring and operational support.
• Integrate ERP, CRM, SaaS, IoT, data platforms and third-party systems.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders and manage delivery partners.
