Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer with deep knowledge of GNSS, GPS signal structures, and receiver processing in Melbourne, Australia.

The role focuses on navigation architectures, FMS, PBN, RNAV, RNP, and sensor fusion, with emphasis on DOORS-based requirements management and rigorous debugging.

You will contribute to system modeling and simulation, documenting technical work and communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of avionics navigation systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GPS/GNSS-based navigation systems.
• Strong understanding of: GPS, GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou); INS; IMU and AHRS; sensor fusion and Kalman Filtering; RNAV/RNP area navigation.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Experience with system modeling and simulation tools.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
