Auto Masters West Ipswich is seeking a motivated Senior Automotive Technician to support the Store Manager and help drive the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop.

This hands-on role suits an experienced technician who enjoys teamwork, has leadership potential, and is ready to take the next step. You’ll mentor apprentices, maintain high quality workmanship, and ensure efficient workshop performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar automotive service and repair role.
• Relevant automotive trade qualification.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Experience mentoring apprentices and junior technicians.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles moving with quality servicing, repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and find effective solutions.
• Step up and take charge when the Store Manager is away.
• Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians.
• Ensure high standards for quality and accuracy.
• Keep tools, equipment and safety standards in top shape.
• Play an active role in achieving workshop productivity and performance targets.
