Job summary

Caloundra GWM is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy Caloundra workshop on the Sunshine Coast. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles, and handle warranty work in a modern dealership environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years post-trade experience, a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, and a valid Australian driver's licence. We offer competitive pay, ongoing training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Automotive Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Experience in a dealership environment is highly regarded.
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance as directed by the Service Department.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement solutions.
• Complete warranty repairs and manufacturer campaigns.
• Document work performed and diagnostic findings accurately.
• Identify additional repair and maintenance needs.
• Follow manufacturer and dealership processes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Service Advisers and workshop team to achieve quality outcomes.
