Job summary

Scenic Motors in Beaudesert, Queensland, seeks a skilled full-time Motor Mechanic to join our growing technical team. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs and road tests, using modern equipment and adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology with at least 1 year of experience, strong diagnostic knowledge, and a valid driver’s license; you’ll work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a motor mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are operating at optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Provide clear and professional advice to customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.
