Job summary

Atain in Sydney, Australia seeks a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java, and to validate REST APIs within microservices architectures.

You will collaborate with developers and product teams, contribute to CI/CD, and help raise test quality across end-to-end testing, performance and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and API testing.
• Experience with microservices testing and test automation framework development.
• Proficient with TestNG/JUnit, Rest Assured, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and SQL validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Test distributed Microservices-based applications and ensure seamless system integration.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with engineering teams for resolution.
• Participate in CI/CD initiatives and integrate automation suites into deployment pipelines.
