Job summary

Ejamerica is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer in Sydney to design, develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and Java. You will enhance automation frameworks across POM, Hybrid, Data-Driven and BDD/Cucumber, and validate APIs and microservices with REST Assured and Postman.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps, use Git for version control, and verify backend data with SQL.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Selenium WebDriver with Java frameworks.
• Strong Core Java, OOP concepts and collections knowledge.
• Experience with API and microservices testing.
• Proficient in REST Assured and Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps and Git.

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and API/Microservices testing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing automated test scripts, validating backend services, and ensuring the quality and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), Hybrid, Data-Driven, and BDD/Cucumber approaches.
• Perform API and microservices testing using REST Assured, Postman, and REST APIs.
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Use Git for version control and test code management.
• Perform database validation using SQL and verify backend data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with development and other testing teams.
• Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and support continuous quality improvement.
