Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Kewdale, Perth, WA, seeks a Senior Service Technician to maintain automated material handling systems and lead technical activities at a flagship site. You will work across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and warehouse control systems with a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Electrician, Electrical Fitter or Mechanical Fitter.
• A-Grade Electrical License or Restricted Electrical Worker's License (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience maintaining automated material handling or warehouse automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive with ownership of quality work.
• Committed to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, PLCs, industrial networks or warehouse control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for the customer.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on automated material handling equipment to ensure reliability.
• Conduct technical troubleshooting and provide expert support during system outages, minimising downtime.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse control system equipment for optimum performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and spare parts records within CMMS.
• Manage spare parts inventory and replenishment.
