Job summary

Arventa on the NSW Central Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Analyst to design, execute and evaluate automated tests for high‑quality applications. You will lead initiatives to enhance our QA automation framework, evaluating tools like Postman and recommending scalable options such as Selenium or Cypress.

This role combines hands‑on testing with guiding internal teams to implement a robust, long‑term QA strategy and supporting Agile development workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with QA consulting or test automation strategy.
• Practical experience with API and UI automation tools (Postman, Selenium, Cypress).
• Proficiency with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver tailored solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and evaluate automated test scripts for high-quality applications.
• Lead the QA automation framework improvement and tool evaluation (e.g., Postman, Selenium, Cypress).
• Guide internal teams in implementing robust QA strategies and CI/CD integration.
• Set up testing environments and reusable components to support scalable automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing coverage and manage risks.
• Support UAT, regression testing, and end-to-end validation for releases.
• Develop performance testing suites and monitor quality metrics.
