Job summary

Orise is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to provide engineering support across project delivery teams, delivering design (software & hardware), development, commissioning, and verification activities. The role involves FAT/SAT, on-site commissioning, and working with multi-vendor PLC/SCADA environments.

You will lead development of PLC, SCADA and HMI solutions, configure industrial networks, and contribute to risk assessments and safety compliance while collaborating with project leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in electrical/electronics/automation related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in control systems.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA in large deployments.
• Experience configuring industrial networks (Moxa) and VLANs.
• Design, develop, diagnose PLC/RTU/HMI/SCADA and network systems.
• Ability to create design docs (FDS/IDT/IO schedules).
• Proven FAT/SAT and on-site commissioning experience.
• Hazardous Area installation and safety assessment exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of reference designs and validated architectures.
• Lead PLC, SCADA and HMI development for projects.
• Perform FAT, SAT and on-site commissioning.
• Provide on-call engineering support and site investigations.
• Assist with tender/quotation inputs and cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with bid managers to mitigate technical risks.
• Develop lab proof-of-concept setups for training and customer engagements.
