Job summary

CommBank’s Group Audit & Assurance (GA&A) is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join the Non-Financial Risk & Finance Audit (NFRF) portfolio. You will oversee audits across a varied non-financial risk spectrum, including operational resilience, operational risk, people risk, and third-party risk, guiding engagements end-to-end.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver clear, evidence-based assurance and strengthen governance, controls and resilience across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or external audit or risk management within banking, financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of non-financial risk management and control frameworks across multiple areas.
• Experience auditing or advising on non-financial risk areas such as operational resilience or third-party risk.
• Ability to understand new and emerging risk areas and apply sound judgement.
• Exposure to regulatory change or risk transformation is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of audits across the NFRF portfolio, including Op Resilience, Op Risk, People Risk, Third Party Risk, and Environmental & Social Risk.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of risk management practices and controls.
• Lead and supervise end-to-end audit engagements (Planning, Fieldwork, Reporting, Closure) to high quality standards.
• Provide pragmatic insights to senior stakeholders to strengthen risk management practices.
• Build trusted relationships across the business and influence senior leaders.
