Nexia Edwards Marshall in Adelaide is seeking an Audit Associate to support our external audit teams, building your analytical and technical skills with clear communication. You will report to managers and partners and work across a range of client engagements from our CBD offices.

The role offers training, support from experienced professionals and opportunities to travel locally. A 1–2 year external audit background, accounting qualification and CA/CPA pathway are preferred, with strong client

Qualifications

• 1–2 years external audit experience in Australian practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CA/CPA path.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist external audits and report audit results.
• Develop understanding of client businesses and risks.
• Assess internal controls and document processes; test controls.
• Perform substantive audit procedures for assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditure.
• Draft engagement letters and audit reports.
• Travel may be required.
