ServiceRocket is seeking an experienced Atlassian Consultant to design and implement Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket solutions across enterprise clients. You will lead customer discussions, translate requirements into actionable plans, and guide teams through complex technology transformations within the Atlassian ecosystem.

The role emphasizes seniority in consulting, strong communication, and collaboration across cross‑functional delivery teams in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as an Atlassian Consultant/Administrator (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket).
• Strong consulting and customer engagement track record.
• Experience with Agile, ITIL/ITSM, and UAT testing.
• Proficient with Unix command line, SQL and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high‑quality Atlassian solutions including architectural system design.
• Facilitate customer discussions to gather business and technical requirements and plan accordingly.
• Provide guidance and best‑practice recommendations to customers.
• Support rollout, adoption, and scaling of solutions for clients.
• Manage projects: scheduling, coordination, communication, and customer relations.
• Advise on internal tooling as a senior technical team member.
• Position yourself as a subject‑matter expert within the community.
• Assist with proposal development and SOW definitions.
• Engage with potential customers as a technical resource on sales calls.

About the Service Delivery area

The Service Delivery area is responsible for providing consulting services to clients, delivering complete project solutions that achieve measurable business improvement through the company’s products and services. The team defines and executes the approach for outsourced solutions, systems integration, and proprietary tooling — acting as the bridge between client needs and technical execution.

At ServiceRocket, this means working within a named account, Centers of Excellence (COE) model, where cross-functional delivery teams guide enterprise clients through complex technology transformations — primarily across the Atlassian ecosystem — from initial scoping through to successful outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions including architectural system design
• Facilitate customer discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirements
• Provide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practices
• Support the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for customers
• Handle customer engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationship
• Advice on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team
• Promote yourself as a subject matter expert and valued member of the community
• Assist with proposal development and statement of work definitions
• Engage with potential customers on sales calls as a technical resource, advising on product solutions

What you’ll bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical disciplines
• 5+ years of experience as an Atlassian Consultant, Atlassian Administrator, Jira Administrator, or similar positions
• Proven track record in implementing solutions including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
• A successful history in customer engagement and demonstrated exceptional consulting and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domains
• Demonstrated expertise in undertaking analysis, evaluation, and translation of customer requirements and feeding them into solutions
• Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation, written and verbal communication
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Proficiency in technical skills such as: command line (preferably Unix), SQL, script development, software configuration, and other related technical skills
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.)
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles
• Experienced in UAT testing and test use‑case development
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
