Job summary

icare NSW is seeking a dedicated risk and assurance professional to strengthen our risk and governance environment. You will deliver assurance reviews, test controls and translate complex findings into clear insights that influence decisions.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business, lead assurance activities in high-risk areas and contribute to continuous improvement of governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in assurance, audit, risk management, compliance or governance.
• Ability to assess complex information, apply sound judgement and propose practical solutions.
• Strong written communication to produce concise reports and explain findings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assurance reviews and control testing across diverse business functions and risk areas.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify key controls and strengthen risk and compliance outcomes.
• Lead projects and assurance activities focused on high-risk or emerging areas.
• Analyse information and prepare clear, practical reports communicating findings and recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships to support a positive risk and compliance culture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of governance frameworks, controls and business practices.
