Job summary

Westpac Group's Optimisation team in Sydney is driving better outcomes across Home Lending Operations. You will partner with stakeholders to identify problems, shape practical solutions and support the delivery of strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance and customer outcomes.

What do I need?

We're looking for someone with experience in business analysis, transformation, continuous improvement or strategic problem-solving within financial services. You'll bring a strong understanding of Home Lending or Mortgage Operations and a proven track record delivering and embedding operational improvements, including process optimisation, automation, digitisation or AI-enabled transformation initiatives. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes in complex environments.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience in consulting, business transformation or enterprise delivery environments.
• Experience supporting cross-functional squads or large-scale enterprise initiatives.
• Coaching exposure on Operational Excellence or continuous improvement programs.
• Relevant improvement qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma.
