Job summary

Traffix Group is expanding into Adelaide with a Senior Associate role to establish and grow the new presence. You will blend technical leadership with client management and people development, leading complex traffic and transport projects from inception to delivery.

You will build strong relationships with clients and authorities, develop fee proposals, mentor engineers and contribute to business planning as the Adelaide operation grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in traffic and transport engineering.
• Broad technical knowledge across traffic and transport engineering.
• Experience leading complex projects and managing commercial outcomes.
• Strong client relationships and business development capability.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineers.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Interest in growing a new Adelaide operation and potential ownership.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex traffic and transport engineering projects from inception through to delivery.
• Providing senior technical input across transport planning, traffic impact assessments, road safety, intersection and parking design, and traffic management.
• Managing project scope, programmes, budgets, profitability, forecasting and risk.
• Acting as a senior technical reviewer and escalation point on complex projects.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, approval authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
• Preparing fee proposals and identifying opportunities for repeat and new work.
• Developing Traffix Group's relationships and market presence within South Australia.
• Leading, mentoring and developing engineers as the Adelaide team grows.
• Contributing to business planning, resource management and growth initiatives.
• Working with Directors and senior leaders across the wider business.
