Job summary

Allens is seeking a lawyer for its Band-1 Disputes & Investigations practice in Australia. The role offers exposure to complex projects across government, healthcare, infrastructure, transport, mining, renewable energy and property development.

You will work with Partners and teams across offices, advising on major disputes and managing diverse matters from delivery to resolution in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Experience in construction and project disputes, litigation and claim resolution.
Ability to manage larger matters and work collaboratively with teams.
Willingness to participate in business development activities.
Desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on disputes related to infrastructure, mining, property development and renewable energy projects.
Advise on commercial and contractual disputes.
Arbitration and supreme court litigation throughout Australia.
Expert determinations, mediations, DRBs/DABs and other ADR.
Provide advice regarding claims and dispute resolution during project delivery across major Australian and international projects.
Adjudication under the Security of Payment Legislation.
