Allens, Melbourne-based, seeks a Lawyer/Associate for its Projects team to handle complex energy and infrastructure transactions. The role offers hybrid work with office and home flexibility, supporting a high-performance team delivering market-leading client work.

You will advise on key documents, conduct due diligence, and contribute to business development across a broad client base in energy and infrastructure. Strong collaboration and independence are valued.

• Experience advising on project development transactions in energy/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Act for major energy/infrastructure players on documents like offtake, PPA, connection, construction, O&M and development agreements.
• Provide SME input on acquisitions and disposals of energy assets, including due diligence and document input.
• Conduct legal and regulatory analysis for energy/infrastructure projects, including approvals and risk allocation.
• Contribute to business development initiatives in the energy and infrastructure sector.
