Help drive investment attraction and industry growth across NSW's technology ecosystem by delivering high-impact initiatives that support government priorities and economic prosperity.

About the Role

Are you passionate about technology, economic development, industry growth and investment attraction? As the Senior Associate, Industry Missions, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering initiatives that attract investment, strengthen priority industries and support the NSW Government's economic agenda.

You will join our Industry Missions' Critical and Enabling Technologies team within the Industry and Investment branch at Investment NSW. The team is responsible for driving industry development and investment attraction initiatives in priority sectors, supporting the delivery of the NSW Industry Policy and NSW Trade and Investment Strategy 2035.

Working across government and industry, you'll lead complex projects, provide strategic advice, develop influential stakeholder relationships and to help technology companies build a business case to invest and expand in NSW. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of policy, strategy and economic growth while contributing to outcomes that have a lasting impact on the state.

We're Looking For

• Industry experience and Investment Attraction: Demonstrated commercial experience attracting and delivering investment outcomes, building strategic partnerships and delivering economic growth outcomes


• Project leadership: Proven ability to deliver complex projects from initiation through to completion, balancing competing priorities with competitive timelines while achieving measurable outcomes


• Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Proven ability to build trusted relationships across government, industry and investment stakeholders, influencing outcomes and navigating complex environments


• Strategic Analysis & Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide evidence-based advice, translate complex issues into practical solutions and contribute to investment and industry development initiatives
