Qualifications

Role 1: Senior Associate Electrical Engineer

Purpose & Scope

Lead electrical engineering design and consultancy for advanced facilities projects, primarily data centers and other mission-critical environments. Act as a technical lead within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex electrical services design projects and electrical components within larger programs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers, and other discipline leads.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance.
• Support bids and proposals; maintain strong client relationships for repeat work.
• Drive innovation and digital delivery in line with Jacobs sustainability and resilience goals.

Technical Focus

• Medium and low voltage distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications.
• Compliance with local codes and advanced facilities standards.
• Integration with data centre power distribution and mission-critical systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; professional registration (or eligibility).
• Extensive experience in electrical design for advanced facilities (data centers, pharma, mission-critical).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and deliver under budget and time constraints.
