Job summary

Shine Lawyers is seeking a Senior Associate to lead and contribute to high-profile class actions and major commercial litigation. You will manage multiple actions, contribute to case strategy, and mentor junior lawyers within the Class Actions team.

You’ll work with clients and funders, develop investigations, coordinate expert evidence, and help originate new class action opportunities while upholding Shine’s commitment to justice and client service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior lawyer practising in major commercial litigation.
• Experience leading legal teams and managing complex matters.
• Strong analytical, project management and client-communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage conduct of multiple class actions and oversee supporting legal team.
• Provide strategic advice and updates to funders on ongoing cases.
• Develop client relationships and communicate effectively while managing expectations.
• Contribute to origination, investigation, and commencement of new class actions.
• Assist in class action investigations.
