Job summary

Endeavour Energy is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead asset integrity and maintenance strategies for its electricity network assets. You will apply FMECA, RCM and RAMS to optimize maintenance decisions and provide defensible engineering input for investment choices.

Role spans across transmission, distribution and substation portfolios, mentoring engineers and ensuring alignment with risk-based asset management standards. Applications close 29 October 2026.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in electricity networks, asset management, maintenance or reliability engineering.
• Strong knowledge of distribution network and zone substation assets, failure modes and maintenance requirements.
• Experience applying FMECA, RCM, RAMS and quantitative asset risk modelling.
• A track record of leading complex failure investigations and making defensible engineering recommendations.
• Strong technical writing, stakeholder influencing and engineering leadership skills.
• Familiarity with SAP PM or similar asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Shape maintenance standards and practices by leading the review and continual improvement across designated asset portfolios.
• Develop risk-based maintenance strategies to determine maintenance tasks, intervals and interventions.
• Lead complex asset failure investigations and translate findings into corrective actions and learnings.
• Develop and enhance asset risk models including PoF and RAMS assessments across multiple risk domains.
• Provide principal engineer-level technical authority to support field operations and investment teams.
