Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer for opportunities in Australia. You will design and implement digital ASIC solutions from architecture through verification, collaborating with a broad team of engineers to deliver high‑quality, high‑speed systems.

The role offers work across Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne with flexible remote options. You will contribute to architecture, RTL development and ASIC verification in challenging projects with diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Background in ASIC or digital design of complex systems.
• Experience with Verilog or SystemVerilog for RTL development.
• Familiarity with synthesis, timing analysis and verification.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ASICs for complex digital systems across architecture and RTL.
• Contribute to ASIC architecture and microarchitecture development.
• Develop and optimise RTL using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Support synthesis, timing analysis and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with verification, FPGA engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and design specifications.
