Job summary

Motion Recruitment partners with an established Australian design services consultancy to recruit an Analog Design Engineer. You will design and develop analog electronic systems from concept through to production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role focuses on analog circuit design, verification, and hardware architecture decisions, with exposure to power supplies, high-speed signaling and mixed-signal electronics.

Qualifications

• Analog circuit design and analysis.
• Power supplies, signal conditioning and amplification.
• Circuit simulation and design verification.
• Schematic capture and PCB design.
• High-speed and mixed signal electronics.
• Component selection and hardware troubleshooting.
• Laboratory testing and debugging.
• Hardware development from concept through to production.
• Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog electronic circuits and systems.
• Translate system requirements into robust hardware solutions.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation and design verification.
• Develop schematics and support PCB design activities.
• Work closely with digital, FPGA, firmware and systems engineers.
• Select components and contribute to hardware architecture decisions.
• Support prototype development, testing and debugging.
• Identify and resolve hardware design issues.
• Develop technical documentation and design specifications.
• Engage with customers and provide technical input throughout projects.
