Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Application Developer to join agile, multidisciplinary teams delivering secure, scalable software across biosecurity operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, testers, and developers to build and maintain business-critical applications that support complex environments.

You'll work with .NET, WPF, Angular, React, SQL, and Microsoft Dynamics 365/PowerApps while following coding standards and participating in reviews.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing applications using one or more of the technologies listed above.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working with relational and/or cloud-based databases.
• Ability to analyse complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain business-critical applications.
• Analyse technical and business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.
• Design and manage database solutions, ensuring performance and data integrity.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technology modernisation activities.
• Support Agile software delivery practices and ceremonies.
