Job summary

Crown Resorts is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to own and optimize the hospitality application landscape across Opera, Simphony POS, Oracle, and related SaaS platforms. The role involves managing upgrades, testing cycles, and root-cause problem solving, partnering with Product Owners and senior leaders.

You will build strong relationships across Hotels, F&B, Gaming, and Group Technology, and provide on-call support to ensure minimal downtime and exceptional guest experiences.

The Opportunity

This is a hospitality technology role at its core. Reporting to the Product Owner within Group Technology, the Senior Application Analyst owns the applications that keep our hotels, restaurants, bars and gaming floors running — Opera, Simphony POS, Oracle and a range of SaaS and revenue-related platforms. You'll take ownership of upgrades, maintenance and problem solving, while bringing a strategic lens to a portfolio with genuine room for improvement: getting to the root of the problem, not just the symptom, and helping shape where the portfolio goes next. It's a stakeholder-heavy role across property operations, Food & Beverage, Hotels and the wider technology team, so we're looking for someone who can bring order to chaos, read team dynamics well, and keep a calm, steady presence when things move quickly.

What You'll Do

• Own the day-to-day health of Crown's hospitality application landscape — Property Management (Opera), Simphony POS, Oracle and other F&B, booking, access management and revenue-related SaaS platforms.
• Lead upgrades, patching, releases and maintenance end to end, including test plan creation for each release cycle and coordination of testing and deployment activity with vendors and internal teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application issues, digging past the immediate symptom to identify and fix the underlying root cause.
• Shape the application roadmap and portfolio vision in partnership with the Product Owner, identifying opportunities to standardise, simplify and improve how our hospitality systems support the business.
• Build strong relationships across Hotels, F&B, Gaming and Group Technology — running requirements gathering, presenting recommendations to senior leaders and acting as the main escalation point for stakeholders and vendors.
• Provide strong application support on an on-call basis, keeping downtime to a minimum so our outlets can deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a technical discipline, likely gained as a Systems Lead, Technical Analyst, Systems Manager or from an engineering background, with experience managing small-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience with hotel and hospitality systems — Opera or equivalent Property Management Systems, Simphony or other POS platforms, Oracle, and SaaS or revenue-related applications.
• A strategic, curious mindset — someone who understands the business problem behind the ticket and can contribute to the longer-term direction of the portfolio.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of an organisation, with a calm, measured communication style and strong awareness of team dynamics.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, structure ambiguity and bring order to competing demands.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline
