Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned business developer focused on National Security & Defence (NSD) to drive regional growth across Asia Pacific. You will leverage direct intelligence or defence domain experience with commercial cloud know-how to earn trust with senior leaders and shape regional GTM strategies.

You will work with AWS country teams, partners and solutions architects to build pipeline, close opportunities, and deliver measurable NSD outcomes.

Qualifications

• Track record of identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing complex NSD opportunities.
• Ability to present to C-level executives across government, defence and military.
• Experience defining go-to-market strategies with partners to deliver commercial outcomes.
• Understanding of cloud computing and AI/ML in defence context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional NSD business development strategy across Asia Pacific nations.
• Build relationships with senior government and defence leaders to earn trust.
• Represent AWS at high-level defence forums, events and customer engagements.
• Define joint GTM strategies with defence primes, system integrators and ISVs.
• Collaborate with AWS country teams to translate strategy into local execution.
