SpaceX in Redmond is seeking a Sr. Antenna Engineer for Satellites (Starlink). You will own phased array and RF front-end design, working with electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to drive concepts to manufacturing.

You will prototype, test, and analyze antenna systems, contributing to Starlink gateways and customer hardware while collaborating with leadership to shape system performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 5+ years of RF/antenna research or development experience.
• 1+ years with 3D EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, XFDTD).
• Master's or PhD in EE with RF/antennas research preferred.

Mansioni

• Design advanced antenna and feed systems including phased array and reflector products.
• Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems and RF front ends.
• Contribute to software and testing of digital beamforming systems for full phased array functionality.
• Provide phased array expertise to set specifications and debug issues across satellite and consumer products.
• Perform design validation testing of prototype and production designs.
• Contribute to integration of antennas into spacecraft and other systems.
• Analyze RF performance data and investigate methods to improve operation.
