Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Ansible Developer to support a Federal Government client across Canberra, Brisbane, and Melbourne. The role emphasizes automation, DevOps, and platform engineering to deliver scalable Ansible-based solutions in a multi-site environment.

You will design, test, and support enterprise automation using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, writing playbooks, roles, inventories and modules while guiding teams on standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation, DevOps, platform engineering or managed services.
• Strong experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, variables, handlers, templates, modules, and reusable automation.
• Strong RHEL/Linux administration, patching, services, permissions, filesystems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and support enterprise automation using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, including playbooks, roles, inventories, workflows, APIs, and integration with enterprise infrastructure and ITSM processes.
