Job summary

hipages is seeking a senior Analytics Engineering leader to scale our data architecture and analytics capabilities. You will mentor a pod of analytics engineers, shape data contracts, and drive end-to-end data products across the BI stack including dbt, Databricks and Tableau.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Commercial teams to enable self-serve analytics, establish best practices, and deliver high-impact data solutions at scale from Sydney.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Deep SQL and data architecture design experience.
• Hands-on mastery of dbt and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience governing semantic layers in BI tools like Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage a team of Analytics Engineers.
• Set standards for reproducibility, observability, and data contracts.
• Architect scalable data models in dbt/Databricks and collaborate with Analysts/Engineers.
• Deliver end-to-end data products and governance across analytics and BI.
